Paypal Provides Access to Donations for Oregon Terrorists Updated

There was a call from the terrorists — that is what they are — for help. From socks to food to money.

I had a quick look on the site that is mentioned in the request. ( I won’t provide a direct link here )

The site is nothing more than a hate site against Islam that no one in the news media is covering.

I clicked on the donate button and low and behold it went to paypal.

Paypal’s terms of service: PayPal Acceptable Use Policy

Quoting:

You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:

violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation. relate to transactions involving….(d) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, ... (f) the promotion of hate, violence, racial intolerance

Why has this not been mentioned by anyone? And why is paypal still keeping the site’s account open?

There is an email at the bottom of the paypal page for reporting the website.

I got the standard we will look into it email:

We will thoroughly review the mentioned website/s and/or auction/s and possible linked PayPal accounts and take further action as appropriate in this case.

my bold. Further in the email, they indicate they won’t say what the results will be, due to “data protection.” Will keep an eye out.
