A University of British Columbia study has shown there is no validity to the Liberation therapy — widening of the veins which leads to a cure for MS.
A double blind study was done — half the patients were given the therapy and half thought they were. They actually went through the surgery.
After a year of monitoring, there was no difference in the 2 groups.
This was a $5.5 million study funded by the Canadian government and the provinces of B.C., Manitoba and Quebec.
